  • CHARITY QUIZ & SUPPER at LANGEBAAN YACHT CLUB
    In aid of LBN ANIMAL CARE, HOW WILDLIFE RESCUE & PLAY INITIATIVE.
    R50 inc. Supper (curry or lasagne). Food 6pm – 7.30pm Quiz 7.30pm -9.30pm
    Max team size 6 please. The emphasis is very much on a fun night, prizes for the winning team, BooBy Prizes etc. It will be a great laugh, COME ON YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO!!!. Call me for tickets, or inbox, at least R25 from each ticket going to the organisations. Robert Cooke 0824304505

Misty mornings in Paternoster

Winter is on our doorstep after a very long sunny summer season. Since a week ago you can feel it in the air. It's not daylight till 9 in the evening any more. The time for long red wine evenings and burning fireplaces finally arrived. Now is the time on the West Coast to prepare for winter evenings. Not much to do here, but good friends are now coming together again to have long talks and build quality friendships. Our restaurants are changing their menus and getting blankets ready for that very cosy nights around the fire.

Tuesdays:

  • Walk/Run Time test – 5Km in Vredenburg. Takes place every Tuesday at 17h30 at the Vredenburg Squash Courts/Sport Centre.You can get more info from Casper -083 6777 811
  • Frame Domain. Denis Hilton Lees is giving art lessons at Frame Domain ever Tuesday morning. A new group on Thursday morning is starting up soon due to demand. Please contact Moira 082 5766619 to get more details.Casual workshops are always on the go. Watch this space.

Wednesdays:

  • Walk/Run Time test – 5Km in Langebaan. Takes place every Wednesdays at 17h30 at the Langebaan Country Club. You can get more info from Eddy on 083-399-2651
  • Hip-Hop/Modern Jazz/Salsa dance styles. 2 Hours of pure Fun and Fitness! Wednesdays at 18:30, Vredenburg at Oxigim. Contact Tara on 072 337 1689
